Vigia is now on the App Store

Vigia is available on the App Store for iPhone from today. It is the new app from Innovatek Software for keeping your health in order, and that of the people you care for — a child, a parent, a partner: medication reminders, readings, appointments and documents, each in their own profile, on one phone. No account, no server.

One profile per person

Every person gets their own profile in Vigia, with a colour that tells them apart at a glance: you, your children, your parents. Each one holds whatever you choose to note down — date of birth, family doctor, emergency contacts, allergies, conditions, exemptions — and everything except the name is optional. The Today screen shows the day's doses for everyone at once or for a single person, and every line always says whose it is. Profiles never mix: what you record for your father stays in your father's profile.

Reminders that persist, and say who they are for

Each medication has its own times, days of the week and, for short courses, an end date. When a dose is due, the reminder keeps going until you answer: taken, skipped or snoozed. It always carries the person's name — "Luca · Amoxicillin · 8:00 PM" — because once there is more than one profile, the question is not only what to take but who takes it. On iOS 26 the most important doses can ring like an alarm, even with the phone on silent. A dedicated screen checks notifications and permissions and walks you through fixing them; and if the phone could not alert you, Vigia says so: an unconfirmed dose stays "not confirmed" rather than being logged as skipped. Stock tracking counts the units left and lets you know when they are running low.

Readings, appointments and documents

Weight, blood pressure, glucose, temperature, oxygen saturation, heart rate and custom readings are recorded exactly as you enter them, along with any circumstances you want to note — fasting, at rest, left arm. Appointments come with advance notice, a contact, a list of what to bring and room for the outcome. Prescriptions and reports can be scanned or imported, and they stay in the app's private storage, not in your photo library. When you need it, the PDF summary for the doctor gathers one person's records over the period you pick, shared only when you decide. Vigia records and displays: it gives no medical advice, does not interpret values and does not replace the opinion of a doctor or pharmacist.

Your data stays on your iPhone

Vigia has no account and no server, and contains no advertising or analytics. Everything stays on the phone, and the backup is your device's own iCloud backup. To move to a new iPhone there is a password-encrypted export, and the app can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID or a PIN — worthwhile when one phone holds the records of several people. Vigia is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish and French.

The essentials free, the extras once

Reminders, confirmations, every profile, readings and their history are free, with no limits. Vigia complete is a single purchase with no subscription. It adds the PDF summary for the doctor, adding new documents (the ones already saved always stay available), charts of your readings, app colours and the "Today" widget for the Home Screen. The purchase can be shared through Family Sharing.
