Privacy Policy — Vigia

This policy describes how the Vigia app (package app.vigia) for Android and iOS, developed by Innovatek Software (Innovatek di Cafaro Carmelina, VAT IT06424410659), handles data. In short: Vigia collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There is no account, no Vigia server, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
What the app handles
On the phone the app keeps what you write: people's profiles (name and, if you add them, date of birth, sex, height, blood group, health ID, doctor, emergency contacts, conditions, allergies, exemptions, notes), medications with times and stock, readings, appointments, documents you photograph or import, and the log of reminders and confirmations. This data lives only in the app's private storage on your device. Innovatek Software does not receive it, cannot see it and cannot recover it.
Internet connection
The app does not use the Internet for your data. The only network communication is handled by the store (Google Play or the App Store) to download the app and, if any, for a purchase.
Backup
If device backup is on, the operating system may include the app's data in your Google or iCloud backup, according to the settings you chose. That backup is run by Google or Apple, not by Vigia. On Android backup, photographed documents are excluded because of size limits, and the app tells you so.
Exports and sharing
You can export your data to a file encrypted with a password you choose, or create a PDF summary for the doctor. These files leave the app only when you share them, through the system share sheet, to the destination you pick.
Permissions
Notifications and exact alarms: to ring reminders at the right time.
Full-screen alarm: to show a medication reminder even when the phone is locked.
Start at boot: to reschedule reminders after a restart.
Biometrics (optional): for the app lock. Fingerprint or face stay with the system; the app never receives them.
Children
A parent can create a profile for a child. The child's data stays on the parent's phone like everything else. The app is meant to be used by adults.
Deletion
Deleting a profile erases its data and documents from the phone. Uninstalling the app erases everything it contains. System backups and files you exported follow the rules of whoever keeps them.
What Vigia does not do
Vigia records and shows. It does not give medical advice, does not interpret values and does not replace your doctor or pharmacist.
